Congratulations Alpha Sigma Pledge Class!

A hearty congratulations are in order for our newly activated sisters of Sigma Alpha Theta. These lucky ladies officially joined our sorority on Monday, November 14 as the Alpha Sigma pledge class, and are our only pledge class that has the distinction of being palindromic. After the activation ceremony, the new girls gave us quite a performance for their class skit. That was by far the best rendition of ‘Party Rock Anthem’ I’ve ever heard. And the special effects were awesome! You can check it out for yourself below.

Activation means that we are coming up on the end of the semester. We only have two meetings left, but they are a couple of the most fun meetings we have during the year: Thanksgiving dinner with Farmhouse and our Christmas party. Also this week, we’re having sisterhood on Thursday and Formal on Friday. This year’s Formal theme is Masquerade Ball. Additionally the end of fall semester signals election time for the sorority. This week we elected our new executive board and next week will be chair positions. Congratulations to Brenna Goodwin, Kathryn Herbert, Breanna Scott, Lauren Colby, Cassie Hornick, and Kaysie Jennings for being elected as our new executive board and good luck to those who are running for chair positions.
