October is going to be a Busy Month

This week is turning out to be quite a busy week for the ladies of Sigma Alpha Theta. Not only is our new website now up and running, but lots of other events are going on as well.

Last night we debuted our new chapter website and it looks great! We’d like to give a big thank you to Chaptercore for getting our site up so quickly and doing such a great job with the design.

Also, we have two events going on today. We just finished up selling hamburger lunches at the CASNR career fair. Participants at the career fair were able to enjoy a Copper Cellar hamburger, chips, cookie, and a drink; all for only $5! And this evening a group of us will be going over to the Ronald McDonald House to prepare dinner for the families staying there. This is a philanthropy that we perform about once a month, all year long.

And finally, tomorrow morning a bunch of our sisters will be heading up to Arlington, Virginia for the Sigma Alpha National Convention. This year’s convention theme is “What We Have Never Loses Value: Professionalism, Leadership, Sisterhood”. We hope these ladies have lots of fun and bring some good ideas back to our chapter.

We’ve barely cracked into October, and it’s already turning out to be quite a busy month. We have lots more planned for the upcoming weeks, so stayed tuned.
